Turning AI ideas
into products people
downloaded and paid for.

At SocialKit LTD., I worked alongside the CEO every day to research, shape, launch, and grow a portfolio of more than 25 consumer apps across AI creation, beauty, media editing, and emerging experiences.

02 / Beyond the design role

I did not wait
for a finished brief.
I helped find the product.

SocialKit operated at founder speed. Ideas moved quickly from market signal to product concept, App Store launch, and live learning. Working directly with the CEO meant I participated in the decisions before an interface existed.

I researched markets and users, mapped competing products, clarified value propositions, shaped MVP flows, created the experience and visual language, tested monetization, and produced the App Store assets that introduced each product to customers.

03 / The product loop

Research. Build. Launch.
Measure. Repeat.

With a portfolio this broad, the advantage was not one perfect process. It was a disciplined loop that helped us learn quickly without losing sight of product quality.

01Find the signalTrend, category, competitor, user behavior, and unmet need research
02Define the wedgeAudience, core promise, differentiated experience, and MVP scope
03Make it realUser flows, interaction, visual system, prototype, and edge cases
04Launch the storyApp icon, screenshots, preview video, positioning, and promotional content
05Learn from behaviorA/B tests, paywall response, conversion friction, feedback, and iteration
04 / Discovery and product strategy

Fast did not mean
guessing.

Before committing to a concept, I used market research to understand category demand, established patterns, competitor positioning, pricing models, and where a simpler or more focused experience could win.

User research and behavioral evidence then shaped onboarding, creation flows, feature hierarchy, and monetization. The goal was not to add every possible AI capability. It was to make the first moment of value obvious enough that a new user would continue.

Market

Is there demand?

Category movement, search behavior, competitor offers, reviews, and product gaps.

User

What is the job?

Motivation, current workarounds, moments of friction, and language customers understand.

Business

Can it sustain growth?

Acquisition promise, activation moment, monetization logic, and portfolio fit.

05 / Monetization experiment

Designing for revenue
without ignoring trust.

One experiment focused on users who reached the paywall but hesitated. We tested a layered offer sequence that reframed value and introduced time-bound alternatives.

Compared with the previous average, with no observed negative impact on short-term retention. This showed how pricing presentation, value communication, and timing could materially change product performance.

06 / App Store go-to-market

The product experience
started before download.

I designed app icons, screenshots, preview videos, and marketing graphics as part of the product system. These assets had to explain the value quickly, compete in a crowded category, and set an expectation the in-app experience could actually fulfill.

This work taught me to connect product positioning, acquisition, onboarding, and retention as one journey rather than separate design tasks.

07 / Selected products

One portfolio.
Multiple AI behaviors.

The selected work spans generation, editing, immersive computing, and creator tools, each requiring a different mental model while sharing the same need for immediate value.

08 / Cross-functional product leadership

Close to the CEO.
Close to the customer.
Close to delivery.

Turned open-ended ideas into testable productsI helped define the audience, promise, scope, and experience before moving into detailed design.

Balanced speed with a coherent user journeyRapid launches still required clear onboarding, predictable interactions, and a focused first-value moment.

Connected product and growth decisionsResearch, UX, monetization, App Store positioning, and promotional content were treated as one system.

Used live signals to improve the productA/B tests and user behavior replaced internal preference with evidence wherever possible.

09 / What I learned

Ideas become products
through decisions.

SocialKit taught me that shipping is not the end of design. It is the beginning of product evidence.

Portfolio thinkingEvaluate ideas as bets with different audiences, costs, risks, and learning value.
Commercial fluencyUnderstand how activation, paywalls, positioning, and retention shape the viability of an experience.
Executive partnershipCommunicate tradeoffs clearly and move between vision, detail, and delivery every day.
Product ownershipStay accountable for what happens after the screen is designed and the app is released.
Role outcome

From lead designer
to full-product thinker.

A high-velocity environment where research, product strategy, UX, growth, and commercial outcomes met every day.
